Sabrina currently serves as Space Lead within the SnT Technology Transfer Office at the University of Luxembourg, where she supports the translation of space technologies into real-world applications. She is also the Founder and CEO of Matter Space and Defence and previously served as a Director leading KPMG’s EU Space Practice, working across government, institutions, and industry on a wide range of space and defence initiatives. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Theoretical Physics, Sabrina entered the space sector through a Master’s at the International Space University in Strasbourg. Her career includes roles at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and the European Space Agency (ESA/EAC), before she specialised in sustainability within the space sector and completed an MBA. She has held senior roles at SES Satellites and BDO, where she established and led new departments. Sabrina is also Chair of the Space and Defence Working Group at the British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg. Alongside her professional work, she is actively engaged in education and sustainability, lecturing on space and sustainability at institutions including the International Space University, EPFL, the European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability (EIIS), Leiden University, and institutions across the UK. She has also served as Technical Manager for Space4Climate, a group chaired by the UK Space Agency, and is a mentor for the UN Space4Women programme.
