Rajeev Gambhir is the Executive Vice President at InspeCity Space Laboratories, an IIT Bombay spinoff developing technologies and operational capabilities for increasingly autonomous and complex operations in space. With more than four decades of leadership experience across space, satellite communications, telecom and media, he brings deep domain expertise at the intersection of commercial strategy, institutional engagement and the development of dual-use capabilities. At InspeCity, Rajeev works across corporate strategy, international partnerships and strategic engagement, helping build the relationships and pathways required to translate deep-tech innovation into globally competitive and operationally resilient space capabilities and enterprises. A frequent speaker at leading national and international forums, Rajeev has played an active role in India's evolving space sector at the intersection of industry, policy and institutional development, notably during his tenure as Deputy Director General at SIA-India. His work spans sustained engagement with government, defence, industry, academia and the investment community. He serves on the Global Advisory Committee of ACES Worldwide and contributes to national and international dialogues on space domain governance, in-orbit operations and standards, strategic applications and international collaboration.
