Later that year, Kateryna Chernohorenko launched Army+, a dedicated one-stop-shop mobile app for active military personnel featuring e-reports, training courses, surveys, discount programs, and cross-unit transfer functionality that drastically reduced bureaucracy within the Armed Forces. During her time in the Ministry of Defence, Chernohorenko also oversaw the scaling of DELTA, a Ukrainian battlefield management and situational awareness system presently operated by 90% of the Armed Forces’ units. The system was officially certified by NATO in 2024 and utilised during the NATO REPMUS 2025 exercises. On top of that, she integrated the Avengers AI platform into the Vezha video-analysis module, enabling automated detection of enemy equipment from drone and surveillance footage, reaching a 70% accuracy in about 2.2 seconds. In early 2024, Kateryna Chernohorenko led the Drone coalition, amassing support from 18 countries and mobilising over €2 billion in military aid. She is also responsible for establishing the Cyber Incident Response Center, securing 24/7 monitoring of Ukrainian cyberspace, preventing data breaches, and ensuring the country’s digital resilience. In March 2025, Chernohorenko initiated the creation of the Space Policy Directorate within the Ministry of Defence, laying the legal and institutional foundation for international cooperation and global space security integration. During her government service, Chernohorenko received several medals and badges of honour: from the Security Service of Ukraine, the Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine, 92nd Separate Assault Brigade, and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. In 2024, she received the Cross of Honour — an award granted for outstanding personal contributions to the development of defensive capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Currently, Kateryna Chernohorenko serves as a strategic advisor to the global and Ukrainian defence tech industry, providing guidance on drone warfare and digital development, as well as consulting businesses in terms of market expansion. She also leads the digital transformation programme at the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine and shares her expertise as a senior lecturer at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, teaching the course “E-Governance, Document Management, and Digital Democracy.” ## Exhibitors - [Space Canada](https://counterspaceexpo.com/exhibitors/space-canada/) - [Agoria BSDI](https://counterspaceexpo.com/exhibitors/agoria-bsdi/) ## Categories - [Press Release](https://counterspaceexpo.com/category/press-release/) - [Insights](https://counterspaceexpo.com/category/insights/) - [Interview](https://counterspaceexpo.com/category/interview/) ## Speaker Groups - [Advisory Board](https://counterspaceexpo.com/speaker-group/advisory-board/) - [Team](https://counterspaceexpo.com/speaker-group/team/)
